Description

The LiveSwitch Launcher Chrome Extension extends LiveSwitch's functionality by:

Allowing customers to start a live call or request a recording on any web page.
Accessing LiveSwitch recordings, photos and files as interactive media within the page.

Features and Functionality

“Start a Live Video Call” or “Request a Recording” on any webpage

LiveSwitch Launcher will automatically scan every webpage and identify phone numbers. If a phone number is identified, a small LiveSwitch icon is placed next to the number directly on the webpage.

Once the “L” icon next to a contact number is clicked, the LiveSwitch Launcher opens and gives you an option to send a text message requesting to “Start a Live Video Call” or “Request a Recording.”

For example, assume you use ServiceTitan to manage your business, and you receive a request asking for a quote. With LiveSwitch Launcher, you can go to the request, select the LiveSwitch icon next to the phone number, and start a live call or request a recording.

Without LiveSwitch Launcher, you would go to the request, copy the prospective customer’s phone number, open LiveSwitch Contact, and select the “Start a Live Video Call” or “Request a Recording” action before sending a request.

Snooze, pause and resume to enable and disable the extension at any time

The LiveSwitch Launcher Chrome Extension can be temporarily disabled on a webpage by clicking the settings icon and selecting “Snooze for 1 hour” or “Pause” until it’s ready to be used again. To reactivate, simply click “Resume” on the LiveSwitch Launcher pop-up.

If you select the "Snooze for 1 hour" option, LiveSwitch Launcher will automatically resume on that webpage after the hour has elapsed.

View submitted recordings, photos and files converted into interactive media

When a customer responds by submitting recordings, photos or files through LiveSwitch Platform, the submitted content appears directly inside the user’s service management software.

Users are now able to view photos, review recordings and preview files on ServiceTitan.

Installation

Step 1: Install the Chrome Extension

Step 2: Click “Add to Chrome”

Step 3: Click “Add extension”

Step 4: Click “Puzzle Piece” Icon and the “Pin” icon to pin to the toolbar

Step 5: Log in to LiveSwitch
